D2D survey paper published!

A critical review of mobile device-to-device communication

Recently, I’ve been helping Adrien and some colleagues writing a survey paper about device-to-device (D2D) communications, describing there are lots of real-world use-cases that would leverage D2D, but also lots of obstacles preventing wide D2D adoption.

After 4 resubmissions, it was getting old and was generally not considered to contain any research contribution.

With the paper waiting for too long to be accepted, we decided to put it on arXiv and start working on other D2D-related stuff.
